Mary Seigel of Bronx, NY, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 of natural causes, having reached the ripe old age of 94 only 3 weeks before.
She was born in Bronx on July 15, 1919. She lived there for many decades, and later in her life she and her husband Max moved to Yonkers.
Mary is survived by her son, Harvey and her beloved daughter-in-law, his wife, Elly of Cornwall-on-Hudson; her unofficial son, Alberto and his wife, Susan of Riverdale; her son, Charles and his wife, Laurie of Berkeley Heights; grandchildren: Cory, Jenny and Stacy; great-grandchildren: Raymond, Lily and Angie; sister-in-law, Ida Lust; nieces, Sheila and Lorraine; nephew, Carl, and a few very special and very dear friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Max; her parents, Harry and Sadie; and sisters, Ida and Lillian.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 9th at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. The Rabbi, Lawrence Freedman will officiate. There will be no visitation per Mary’s wishes. Cremation will follow the service and Mary’s ashes will be scattered at the places she loved during her life, so that she can be there again for eternity.
