On May 5, 2011 the world lost a legend and a man who lived for his family and touched everyone he encountered.
Cosimo was born in Sicily, Italy to the late Guiseppe Serio and Salvatora Serio. He came to America at the age of 17 and resided in the Pelham Bay section of the Bronx where he raised his family with his wife Maria Pia.
Cosimo will live on through his wife Maria Pia, children Salvatrice, Giuseppe & Cosimo, Jr. and his grandchildren Thomas, Ryan, Elaina, Giuseppe & Cosimo III.
The family has arranged a memorial in his honor to take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel, Bronx, New York on June 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
