On Thursday, April 17, 2025, at approximately 1333 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 3724 Bronxwood Avenue, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the neck and chest.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 22-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 2020 hours, within the confines of the 47th Precinct.
