Deadly Accident In Bronx

Police have taken a driver into custody for questioning after a deadly pedestrian accident in Bronx.

A 26-year old man was hit as he crossed Timpson Place in the Longwood section of Bronx just after 1:00 a.m.

Authorities said the 21-year-old driver of the 2003 Honda Civic was taken into custody.

Police are investigating whether he deliberately ran over the victim.

The name of the victim has not been released.
