On Wednesday, October 06, 2021, at approximately 0437 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front of 300 E. 158th Street (Jackson Houses), within the confines of the 40th Precinct / PSA7 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 31-year-old male lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 41-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged according.
