The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the individual, depicted in the attached photographs, who is wanted in connection to two sexual assaults, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

Both incidents occurred at the victims’ residence in the vicinity of Gerard Avenue and E. 164th Street as follows:

  1. On Sunday, May 09, 2021, the individual approached the 12-year-old female victim inside of her residence and proceeded to rape her.
  2. On Friday, November 05, 2021, at approximately 2359 hours, the individual approached the victim inside of her residence and displayed a knife while demanding the victim perform a sexual act on him. Upon completing the act, the individual fled the location. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where she received treatment for injuries consisting of lacerations to her arm.

The individual has been identified as Marcus Wiggins.

He is described as a 45-year-old male, Black, weighing approximately 225 lbs., with brown eyes, black short hair and facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, and brown work boots.

On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, Marcus Wiggins turned himself in at the 44th Precinct in the Bronx in a FB live broadcast as seen below.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
