A man was found dead with head injuries early Saturday in the Bronxwood section of the Bronx.

The 25-year-old man’s body was found after police responded to a 911 call at 4206 Paulding Avenue, around 12:39 a.m. Saturday.

The man was unconscious and unresponsive, and had suffered trauma to his head, police said.

The New York City Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of the man’s death, police said. Police did not indicate whether foul play was suspected.

The man’s identity had not been released as of mid-morning Saturday.
