Police have charged a man with killing a woman and her infant daughter and setting fire to a Bronx apartment where the victims were found.
Police say 21-year-old Eligidio Lind was charged with two counts of murder, two counts of manslaughter and two counts of arson. Firefighters who responded to the blaze on Thursday found 32-year-old Luisa Rodriguez dead with multiple stab wounds under a burning mattress.
Her 1-month-old daughter, Angela Rodriguez, was pulled from the flames and later died at a hospital.
