On Monday, June 15, 2020, at approximately 2211 hours, police responded to a 911 call of two males shot at 1164 Franklin Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed victim #1, an unconscious and unresponsive 34-year-old male, with gunshot wounds to the back and hip, as well as victim #2, 34-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced victim #1 deceased at the scene and transported victim #2 to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he remains in critical condition.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
