Lemar Smith, 43, Wanted For The Murder Of Kevin Williams, 42

On Sunday July 19, 2020, at approximately 0230 hours,police responded to a 911 call of a male, stabbed in front of 647 Jefferson Place within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 42-year-old male with stab wounds to the face and abdomen.

EMS responded and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in critical condition.

On July 22, 2020 the male succumbed to his injuries.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the whereabouts of the following individual, depicted in the attached photograph, who is wanted in connection to the above-listed homicide.

Wanted:

Lemar Smith

The suspect is described as a 43-year-old male, Black, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing 190 lbs.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
