On Friday, May 15, 2020 at approximately 0227 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot inside 4439 3rd Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to the ongoing investigation, two male individuals, at the ages of 25 and 29 respectively, have been taken into custody, and charged as follows.

Manhattan, NY 10035
Charges for both individuals:
- murder;
- robbery;
- criminal possession of a weapon;
- criminal possession of marijuana;
- criminal possession of controlled substance.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
