On Monday, April 20, 2020, at approximately 0830 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female in the vicinity of 4464 Park Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified female, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS responded and pronounced the female deceased on scene.
The above listed incident has been deemed a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased 38-year-old female has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 39-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged.
Arrested:
Khphruan Campbell
2271 Washington Avenue
Bronx, NY 10457
Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter 1st degree;
- concealment of human corpse.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
