On Monday, November 18, 2024, at approximately 1142 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in front of 2631 Marion Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 48-year-old male with stab wounds to his chest.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 35-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 1900 hours, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.

Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
