On Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, at approximately 0433 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at 1836 Cedar Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 25-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on June 27, 2025, at approximately 1455 hours, within the confines of the 46th Precinct.

- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
