On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at approximately 1832 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at the intersection of E. 187th Street and Beaumont Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, a 30-year-old male, with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was removed by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
