On Sunday, December 06, 2020, at approximately 0550 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious infant inside of 2350 Webster Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 2-month-old female unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma observed.
EMS also responded to the location and transported the aided infant to Montefiore Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
