On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at approximately 1535 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 2325 Southern Boulevard, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that a 27-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the torso.
The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital by private means, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
