On Saturday, November 9, 2024, at approximately 1945 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call for an assault at 601 Oak Terrace, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the back. EMS responded and transported the aided to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 33-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on November 10, 2024, at 1350 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
