On Thursday, September 23, 2021, at approximately 0200 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot in front of 730 E. 165tb Street (Forest Houses), within the confines of 42nd precinct / PSA 7, in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a 24-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his torso.
EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
