Isaiah Smith, 35, Arrested For The Murder Of Darell McAllister, 24

On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at approximately 2137 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot near the corner of E. 110th Street and Madison Avenue, within the confines of the 23rd Precinct in Manhattan.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.

Further investigation revealed the male was shot inside 60 E. 111th Street, liquor store, and ran from that location.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 35-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 1950 hours, within the confines of the 23rd Precinct.

Charges:

  • murder;
  • criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm (2 counts).

The investigation remains ongoing.
