Help Identify The Murderous Trio, Involved In The Shooting Death Of Demitri Dayshean Dick, 24

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the three individuals depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who are wanted in connection with a homicide, which occurred within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at approximately 1920 hours, the victim, a 24-year-old male, was in front of 140 Debs Place, when three (3) unidentified male individuals began a verbal dispute with the victim. The individuals then discharged a firearm, and the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

The individuals then fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on August 13, 2025.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner has deemed this incident a homicide.

The sought individuals are described as three (3) adult males, approximately 18 to 20 years of age, Black, with dark skin complexion.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
