On Sunday, July 14, 2019 at approximately 2345 hours, police responded to a report of a male stabbed in front of 1749 Seward Avenue, within the confines of the 43 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious 65-year-old male lying in the middle of the street with trauma to his head.
EMS responded to the location and determined that the male did not suffer any stab wounds; EMS personnel subsequently transported the male to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced deceased.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
