The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video in connection to a homicide that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, July 19, 2019, at approximately 0120 hours, in front of 5 East Mount Eden Avenue, an unidentified male approached the 57-year-old male victim on the sidewalk and punched the victim in the face one time with a closed fist, causing the victim to fall to the ground. The unidentified male fled the scene on foot to the Mt. Eden Avenue subway station and boarded a “4” train in an unknown direction. EMS removed the victim to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The deceased male has been identified as follows.

The person wanted for questioning is described as follows:
- male, Black approximately 20-30 years of age; he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a red stripe, and a multicolored du-rag.
