The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance photo who is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 43 Precinct in Bronx.
The following has been reported to police.
On Saturday, October 12, 2019, at approximately 1740 hours, a 48-year-old male victim was followed by an unidentified male into a residential building in the vicinity of Beach Avenue and Guion Place. The unidentified male proceeded to display a black firearm and demanded the victim’s chain. When the victim struggled, the unidentified male struck the victim in the head with the firearm. The unidentified male subsequently fled in unknown direction.
The victim sustained lacerations to his head and was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi.
The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, approximately 25-30 years old, approximately 5’7″-5’8″ tall; he was last seen wearing a burgundy track suit with burgundy sneakers and a burgundy baseball cap.
