The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted for questioning regarding an attempted robbery, which took place within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 1900 hours, in front of 3453 Boston Road, an unknown individual approached the 71-year-old female victim, pulled an unknown object from his pants pocket and demanded that she give him cash.

The individual then forcibly pushed the victim to the ground. The victim began to yell for help, at which point the individual fled the location running southbound on Boston Road.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries to her left knee, shoulder and wrist, and received treatment at Montefiore Medical Center.

The individual is described as an adult male with a dark complexion, approximately 6’0″ tall, with a medium build, black hair and black mustache.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and purple and white sneakers.
