The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who are wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
The following has been reported to the police.
On Saturday, July 18, 2020, at approximately 0112 hours, in front of 510 E. 156th Street, one individual approached and distracted a 35-year-old male victim. Once the victim was distracted, a second individual came from behind and pulled the victim’s wheel chair from underneath him.
While on the ground, the victim was kicked in the face and the males search the victim’s pockets but did not remove any property.
The males fled in unknown direction.
