The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the operator of the vehicle depicted in the attached surveillance photos wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted luring of a child that occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 1534 hours, at the southeast corner of Seneca avenue & Longfellow Avenue, a 10-year-old male victim was walking home when he was approached by a male driving a silver minivan. The driver asked him if he wanted to get in and the child declined. The unidentified driver fled westbound on Seneca Avenue towards Bryant Avenue. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The driver is described as a male, black or Hispanic, dark curly hair, dark complexion and wrinkled face.
