The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an individual in connection to an attempted bank robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 42nd precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Sunday July 19, 2020, at approximately 1257 hours, the individual entered 510 Claremont Parkway (CFSC Community Financial Service) and approached the teller. The individual then passed a black bag and demanded money as he lifted his shirt and displayed a handgun in his waistband. The teller walked away from the service window and the individual walked out of the location.

The suspect fled the location on foot westbound on Claremont Parkway.

The individual is a male, 35 to 45 years old, approximately 5’8″ in height; last seen wearing a baseball cap, a blue hooded sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.
