The New York Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual, wanted for questioning in connection to an assault on an NYPD Police Officer within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On Thursday, June 04, 2020, at approximately 2042 hours, opposite of 831 Dawson Street, an unidentified male individual approached a 24-year-old female uniformed officer assigned to the 41st Precinct, while the officer was attempting to enforce the established curfew. The individual became irate, picked up a metal folding chair, and struck the officer on the head and arm.

The officer sustained a laceration to the head, and bruising to the left forearm. The female officer was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in stable condition.

The individual then fled on foot to parts unknown.

The individual sought for questioning is described as a male, dark complexion, approximately 30-years-old, 6’1″ tall, with black hair and brown eyes; he was last seen wearing ripped jean shorts, a black t-shirt with a white decal in front and gold and white sneakers.
