The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the following individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance video clil regarding an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, September 16, 2020,at approximately 1450 hours, in front of the “Bronx Zoo Deli”, ocated at 2325 Southern Boulevard, when the 19-year-old male victim exited the location, two unknown individuals approached him.
Individual #1 struck him about the body numerous times with a wooden object, while individual #2 displayed a knife and slashed the victim across the neck. The individuals removed the victim’s cell phone, and were observed getting into a blue Honda Civic, fleeing to parts unknown.
The victim sustained a laceration to his neck and bruising about the body.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
The individuals are described as the follows:
Individual #1: adult male, Black, with a thin build; he was last seen wearing red track pants with a white stripe down the pant leg, a white t-shirt, a black du-rag, and white sneakers.
Individual #2: adult male, Black; he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, a black White Sox’s baseball cap, black jeans, black surgical mask and white and red sneakers.
