The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached photo and video and is sought in connection with a robbery pattern within the confines of the 45th Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows:
Incident #1: It was reported to police that on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 08:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Tremont Avenue and Sampson Avenue, the victim, a 53-year-old male, disembarked from a BX 40 bus when he was approached by an unidentified male, who had also just disembarked and who struck him in the head with an unknown blunt object. The victim fell to the ground and the unidentified male removed his iPhone 6 from his hand and fled on foot towards Sampson Avenue. The victim suffered a laceration and swelling above his right eye. He was treated by EMS at the 45th Precinct station house.
Incident #2: It was reported to police that on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 08:15 p.m. at a bus stop on the corner of East Tremont Avenue and Randall Avenue, the victim, a 48-year-old male, was approached by an unidentified male who demanded money. A struggle ensued and the victim was slashed to the head with an unidentified sharp object. The victim was transported by EMS to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition. No property was taken.
The unidentified male is black, 18-years-old, 5’10”, 150 lbs. with a slim build.
