The New York City Police Department is seeking the public s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct / Transit District 11 in the Bronx.
The following has been reported to police.
On Monday, December 27, 2021, at approximately 1420 hours, inside of the 183rd Street Subway station (4 line), a 22-year-old male victim was riding aboard a south bound 4 train, when an unknown male individual forcible removed the victim s cell phone from his hands as the train door opened.
The individual then fled with the victim s phone on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim was not reported injured.
The cell phone had an estimated value of approximately $1,000.
