The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance video clip, who is sought in connection with an armed robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Saturday, November 06, 2021, at 1653 hours, inside of a barbershop, located at 926 E. Tremont Avenue, an unidentified male entered, produced a handgun and demanded jewelry (a chain and a bracelet), that the victim, a 30-year-old male employee of the barbershop, had posted online for sale at the price of $13,000.
The unidentified male discharged a round from the handgun that struck the ceiling.
Another male employee of the barbershop then surrendered an envelope containing $10,000 in cash to the unidentified male, who then exited the location and fled on a moped on E. Tremont Avenue towards Vyse Avenue.
The victim retained the jewelry, and there were no injuries as a result of this incident.
