The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, regarding a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 1350 hours, inside the Burlington Coat Factory, located at 700 Exterior Street, a 63-year-old male victim was using the rest room when an unknown individual came from behind, placed the victim in a choke hold and removed $40 cash from his jacket pocket, before fleeing the location in an unknown direction.
The victim sustained a laceration to his lower lip but refused medical attention.
The individual is described as an adult male, Black, with dark complexion, weighing 170 lbs., approximately 6’0″ tall, with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, black baseball cap, blue jeans, a grey and black striped shirt, black sneakers, black backpack and a surgical mask.
