The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, who is seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip and is sought in connection with a robbery, which took place within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 1215 hours, inside of a multi-unit residential building in the vicinity of Fordham Hill Oval and Webb Avenue, an unidentified male followed the victim, an 82-year-old male, into the building and then the elevator.
Once inside the elevator, the unidentified male used his cellphone to simulate a firearm and threatened to shoot the victim if he did not surrender his property.
The the unidentified male fled with the victim’s wallet, bank and ID cards, and $100.
No firearm was displayed, and the victim was not injured.
