The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
The following was reported to police.
On Monday, July 20, 2020, at approximately 1530 hours, inside 237 W. 231st Street (All wireless and Electronics), an unidentified male engaged in a verbal dispute with a store clerk.
During the verbal exchange, the male took out a knife from his pocket and proceeded to remove five cellphones from behind the counter, along with $440 from the register.
The male fled in unknown direction.
The store clerk was not injured as a result of this incident.
