The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, regarding a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, July 09, 2020, at 0400 hours, in front of 1859 Walton Avenue, a 47-year-old male victim was walking when an unknown individual approached him, displayed a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm, back and shoulder, before forcibly removing the victim’s Android cell phone. The individual then fled eastbound towards the Grand Concourse.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The individual is described as a male, Black, in his mid 20s, approximately 5’6″ tall, weighing 160 lbs., with dark complexion short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, dark colored shorts and black sneakers.
