The New York Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who is wanted in connection to a robbery incident, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Wednesday, May 05, 2021, at 1830 hours, in a residence located in the vicinity of E. 151th Street and Courtlandt Avenue, a 58-year-old female victim reported to police that she met an individual online and agreed to meet for a gathering at her residence. Once the individual arrived, he propositioned her for sex, but when she declined, she was struck multiple times in the face. 

The individual forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone and fled on foot.

The victim was removed to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

The individual wanted in connection to this incident is described as a male black who is 25-30 years.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
