The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in regard to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, January 04, 2019, at approximately 2314 hours, inside the Best Western Stadium Plus Hotel, located at 926 Sedgwick Avenue, a 24-year-old female victim agreed to meet an unknown individual at the hotel, via social media. The victim let the unidentified individual into her hotel room. Once inside, the individual displayed a silver firearm, forcibly removed $100 cash from the victim’s purse, forced her into the bathroom and struck the victim on the forehead with his firearm, before fleeing the location.

The victim sustained pain and swelling to her head, but refused medical attention.

The individual is described as an adult male, dark complexion, 180 lbs., approximately 5’10” tall, with brown eyes and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing brown pants, brown work boots, a black hooded sweatshirt with a white skeleton on the front and white letters on both sleeves.
