The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, October 01, 2019 at 1200 hours in side of the V.I.M. department store located 324 E. Fordham Road, an unknown individual attempted to leave the store with a $60 pair of sneakers, without paying for the item. Store security stopped the individual and removed one sneaker hidden on her person at which point the individual grabbed a telephone and struck the security guard in the face before fleeing the location to parts unknown.
The victim sustained pain and discomfort. EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he were he was treated and released.
The individual is described as an adult female, medium complexion, 30’s, weighing 140 lbs., approximately 5’3″ tall with medium length light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a blue long sleeve shirt with a white FILA logo on the front, light colored pants and multi-colored sneakers.
