The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying an unknown male individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx / TD #11.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at approximately 0834 hours, a 21-year-old female was on board a southbound “4” train at Mt. Eden subway station and as the train was approaching E. 167 Street, a unidentified individual standing behind the victim, grabbed her by the neck and removed her gold necklace. The individual exited the train at E. 167th Street and fled on foot to parts unknown.
The victim sustained minor scratches to her neck but refused medical attention.
The individual is described as a male, Black, approximately 5’10”, 190 lbs.; and last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt under a green sweater, black pants, white sneakers and carrying a purple book bag.
