The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the males, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who arw wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
The following was reported to the police.
On Monday, June 22, 2020, at approximately 1040 hours, in front of 512A Willis Avenue (Alex Grocery and Deli), four unidentified males approached the 28-year-old victim and asked him if he could borrow his cell phone. The males punched and kicked the victim multiple times before they forcibly removed his backpack that contained his iPhone XS Max.
The individuals fled in an unknown direction with the property.
The victim was to Lincoln Hospital by private means where he received surgery for a facial fracture and is in stable condition.
