The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a reckless endangerment incident, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, November 04, 2021, at approximately 1720 hours, in the vicinity of Union Avenue and Southern Boulevard, the individual discharged several rounds from a firearm at the 22-year-old male victim as he sat in his vehicle.

The victim immediately drove away from the location inside of his car.

The individual fled the scene on foot into the court yard of 500 Union Avenue.

The individual is described as a dark-skinned male, 18 to 25 years of age; last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, a black vest, black sweatpants and blue sneakers.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
