The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a reckless endangerment incident, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at approximately 1836 hours, in front of 1215 Grand Concourse, the individual discharged several rounds from a firearm at two males and then fled on foot northbound on Grand Concourse.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the shooting.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, who wore a black hooded sweater, a red jacket, black sweatpants and black sneakers.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
