The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a reckless endangerment incident, which occurred in the confines of the 40th Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.

The following was reported to the police.

On Sunday, November 01, 2020, at approximately 1545 hours, inside of the Brook Avenue subway station, an unidentified individual threw a bag containing unknown items from the northbound 6 train platform to the roadbed / track area. The bag made contact with the third rail and caught on fire creating a hazardous condition.

The individual fled the subway station to parts unknown.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
