The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to a menacing with a firearm incident that occurred within confines 52 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Saturday, December 07, 2019, at 1530 hours, in front of 2980 Briggs Avenue, a 37-year-old male Uber driver was involved in a verbal dispute with the individual. The individual than displayed a firearm from his jacket, and threatened shoot him. The individual fled the location on foot to parts unknown.
There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
The unidentified individual is described as a male, approximately 25-30 years old, between 160 to 180 lbs. in weight, with a dark skin complexion, and a goatee.
He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, tan baseball cap, and red t-shirt.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the individual sought for this incident was identified as follows.
Suspect:
Michael Andrews
30-year-old male, 5’6″, 160 lbs.
The individual is known to frequent areas in the vicinity of the 52, 108 and 120 Precincts.
