Help Identify A Forcible Touching Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video clip regarding a forcible touching incident, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 1150 hours, inside the Burnside Laundromat located at 253 East Burnside Avenue, an unknown individual did approach a 67-year-old female victim from behind and grab her buttocks before fleeing the location through the front door to parts unknown.

The individual is described as an adult male, dark complexion with short dark hair.

He last seen wearing a grey hooded sweat jacket, black shorts, black sneakers and holding a red laundry bag.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
