The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance video wanted for questioning in connection to a homicide that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
On Sunday, August 18, 2019 at approximately 0352 Hours, police responded to a 911 call for a person shot in front of 539 Commonwealth Avenue in the confines of the 43rd Precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old male victim shot multiple times in the chest.
EMS transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
