The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached photo in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 2225 hours, a 46 year old male victim entered the Payomatic located at 3578 Jerome Avenue, observed a male individual waiting inside the location, proceed to cash a check for $200 and exited the location. The same male individual approached the victim from behind and put him into a chokehold. The individual removed cash from the victim and fled in a vehicle.
The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of this incident.
The male individual is described as a male Hispanic, in his 20’s, last seen wearing a white t-shirt.
