The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, who is seen in the attached surveillance photograph, who is sought for questioning in connection to a homicide, which took place within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
On Thursday, December 20, 2018, at approximately 06:16 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 2167 Westchester Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious 23-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his lower back.
EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
The suspect is described as a male, Black, in his 20’s.
He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jacket, blue jeans and red shoes.
